大阪市中央区にある展示・発信施設です。
クリエイティビティのあらゆる事象を展示・発信する施設なので
空間としては「何もしない」ことを設定しました。
「何もしない」一方で「何かをするため」の舞台としての演出をしています。
交通量の多い場所ではありますが、奥まった位置にあるため、
手前の外部床をチャコールグレー、施設内部を白にすることで
周囲の空間を含めた演出をしています。
設備・天井などは全く触ることができない条件のため、
あえて造作物を追加し、天井とガラス袖壁に均質性を作りました。
手前目線高にペンダントライト、奥足元に間接照明を用いて
実際よりも奥行きを感じさせる仕掛けとしています。
This space is an exhibition and dissemination facility located in Chuo-ku, Osaka.
Although a facility that exhibits and transmits all kinds of creative events,
We choiced designing nothing for this space.
“doing nothing,”However the space is also designed as a stage for “doing something.
Although it is located in a high-traffic area, it is secluded.
By using charcoal gray for the exterior floor in the front and white for the interior of the facility
The facility is staged to include the surrounding space.
Since the facilities and ceilings cannot be touched at all
We dared to add molding to create homogeneity in the ceiling and glass sleeve walls.
Pendant lights are placed at eye level in the foreground, and indirect lighting is placed at the foot of the ceiling in the back.
The ceiling is designed to give the impression of more depth than is actually the case.
